The 2024 Guangdong Provincial High-quality Development Conference was held on February 18 in Shenzhen, the city known as the innovation hub of Guangdong. The conference highlighted Guangdong's commitment to pursue high-quality development driven by innovation.

In an exclusive interview with SFC, Fabien Pacory, Vice President of CCI France Chine expressed his confidence for the Greater Bay Area's innovation capability. Pacory believed that the GBA is now a fully integrated innovation hub,becoming the national benchmark for transformation.

"Guangdong Province and the GBA is now a distinct identity card for the Chinese development model," Pacory pointed out, "I believe that it's an international S&T innovation center. This can't be ignored."
