The 2024 Understanding China International Conference is held in Guangzhou. While attending the conference, Yao Yang, a senior economist at Peking Universitysaid that the Greater Bay Area (GBA) boasts numerous advantagesin terms of new quality productive forces. In particular, the triangular area formed by Shenzhen, Guangzhouand Shunde on the west bank of the Pearl River,constitutesan innovation center in China.
